Sounds like Trump in 2016. The Left expected to win as always, so didn’t crank up the fraud and propaganda machine to defeat the dark-horse candidate.

How many of us actually believe the democrats will let republicans reach 218 seats? Not me... too much power to lose if they lose control of the house... even if only by the slimmest of a margin.
