What’s worse—how much of a joke America’s “elections” are or the contempt with which election officials treat voters who have the nerve to demand answers on election night? Days of mail-in ballot counting have turned Republican Senate leads into Democrat Senate victories, while control of the House is still up for grabs; but the praetorian news pundits who defend the Deep State’s virtue as if they were protecting the disputed honor of a blushing bride still find it more appalling that voters could question the legitimacy of America’s elections than the reality that vote-counters have turned elections into long-term, unbelievable affairs.

It takes an awful long time to track down all those rascally elusive ballots temporarily lost in the mail. Perhaps any unused leftovers can just be scooped up and used again for the Democrats in two years—whatever might move this whole farce along more quickly in the future.

This debauched civic ritual has become so dirty that there’s not enough soap to wash off the stench. In states where voter identification rules are somewhat enforced and mail-in and absentee ballots are reserved for exceptional cases, Republicans won overwhelmingly. In states where anonymous, unsecured mail-in ballots are the new norm, Republicans got trounced.

In 2010, when Republicans absolutely “shellacked” Obama-Marxists in the midterms, conservatives won around two and a half million more votes and picked up a landslide sixty-three additional House seats. In 2022, Republicans have won six million more votes than the Democrats across the country yet will be lucky to grab an additional nine seats.

Elections are supposed to provide ordinary citizens an opportunity to exert control over the direction of their government. In America, they feel like little more than an illusion of choice designed so that government may continue to exercise control over the citizens. The vast administrative State with its millions of employees making up and enforcing rules that directly affect citizens’ lives and property is the real government. The Intelligence Community and its not-so-secret domestic surveillance of Americans is the real government. The CIA’s Mockingbird Media peddling approved talking points and spreading false memes on the Leviathan’s behalf is the real government.

There it is - and it isn't going to be fixed by voting harder for any of the marionettes we call politicians.

An Antifa Democrat who quietly pledges support for Deep State priorities will win even in the face of public opposition.

A mentally challenged Democrat whose handlers quietly pledge support for Deep State priorities will win even in the face of public scorn and ridicule.

A "traditional" Republican who quietly pledges support for Deep State priorities can also easily win a given election - so what?

An outspoken MAGA politician who mentions any of this and makes a public pledge to address it will lose by 1%, regardless of popularity or public profile.

America can't be taken back to the romantic ideals of the Founders' Republic that the older generation among us learned in school - there is nothing left to go back to. Conservatives will have to focus on local governance and promulgating a counterculture - DC's rot will eventually collapse in on itself and we have to be ready to survive the implosion and subsequently rebuild a constitutional republic.

There are limits to looting and the impending global economic collapse is going to deal quite harshly with the scammers who thought they could vote (D) for a living.

The new Florida Office of Election Crimes and Security investigated a voter fraud allegation in Orange County and has referred the matter to law enforcement for possible prosecution in the alleged ballot harvesting scheme.

The Florida Department of State confirmed to the Washington Examiner that the OECS conducted a “preliminary investigation” and has since handed the complaint over to the Department of Law Enforcement.

A former Democratic candidate for an Orange County commissioner seat told the Washington Times that she provided a sworn complaint to the agency stating that left-wing groups have coordinated a scheme to collect absentee ballots from black voters in the area, sometimes changing or discarding the ballots to elect their preferred candidates.

“The [OECS] was made aware of this issue around September 1, 2022. After further inquiry, OECS received additional information related to the allegation on October 17, 2022, and performed a preliminary investigation,” a spokesman told the Washington Examiner. “Since OECS is an investigative entity and does not have authority to make arrests, the office forwarded the complaint to the Florida Department of Law Enforcement for possible violation of section 104.0616, Florida Statutes.”

That section of the state statutes makes it a felony for anyone other than the voter’s immediate family to transfer an absentee ballot, with exceptions for residential care facilities. Cynthia Harris, the Democrat who made an unsuccessful bid for District 6 county commissioner in the Orlando area, said left-leaning groups would target voters likely to use absentee ballots and then show up to collect the ballot in violation of state law.

“They know a whole year ahead who they are going to target and who they’re going to prey upon,” Harris told the Washington Times. “They get them to fill out an absentee ballot request, usually a year ahead of time. Then they’ll knock on their doors, and they’ll say, ‘You received the absentee ballot, and we’re here to pick it up.’”

Harris’s complaint continues that the ballot collectors would steam open the envelopes to check if they supported their candidates and, if not, would change or discard them. She alleges that the operation has gone on for decades, that she has video evidence from 2014 and 2017, and that the group did the same thing during the 2020 election and 2022 primaries.
