Indeed, I’ve been flamed by many over the years that when I claim we need a third party I get ostracized. My reply is always the same: “We don’t need 3 parties at this time, we need a second one. Get the drunk camel look all the time.
Have to disagree with Hawley on this one, you cannot fix the GOPe as in rebranding it with a new message. It won’t fly, just another BS argument from 1/2 the uniparty.
Don’t know what the answer is, yet we all know the GOPe isn’t.
The only salvation is rebuilding the GOP with ballers. Everything else is folly.
A few years ago several of Home Depot’s top vice presidents decided they could do a better job doing what Home Depot does, they hated the direction the company was going under certain leaders, sound familiar, they started an upstart company, I don’t remember what they called it, but 5 years later Home Depot bought the company and fired the executives.
Trying to make a new party will have the same fate. Where’s the Tea Party? Constitution Party? Reform Party? Those were going to replace the GOP in the past 15 years or so, they’re in the dustbin of poorly executed pipe dreams now.
What about the Libertarians? John Birch Society?
These are just a partial listing of conservative leaning parties, the leftards have malcontents also who form doozies like The Green Party or the Marijuana Party, I’m sure they have one or more dedicated to groomers and their types.
The list of political parties is almost endless as is the numerous nationalities that are floating around in America. Have you ever looked at your presidential ballot?
We voters need to participate more not less if we want competent representation. It all starts at our local precinct. And our side has to decide if they love Liberty more than our leftard neighbor covets communism.
