Hawley has been vocally critical of the Republican Party and its Senate Leader Mitch McConnell
Republicans need to rebrand and "build something new" after they failed to retake a majority in the U.S. Senate or meet general expectations for the 2022 midterm elections, one of the party’s younger members said.
On Saturday, shortly after Democrats picked up a key victory in Nevada, where incumbent Democrat Sen. Catherine Cortez Masto defeated Republican challenger Adam Laxalt, Republican Sen. Josh Hawley took to Twitter to say the Republican Party "is dead."
"The old party is dead. Time to bury it. Build something new," Hawley wrote.

We are about to see an unprecedented amount of both malice and incompetence.
I’m guessing that Ducey wanted Trump gone, so he made a pact with the Devil.
And now, the bill is coming due. AZ will become a D state, or at least have a D governor.
Get rid of Mitch and Romney and any others that are squishy.
It is way past time to do this anyway. Also, we must rid the Country of all Dominion and Smartmatic voting “tabulators..” At my polling place, for two terminals there were seven, SEVEN WiFi accounts.. and yes, I do know what I looked at and documented..
I agree. Fat Albert is letting elections be stolen. She should go.
I know.
There is no waynto fix this peacefully.
We try to reset thungs, they will use that opportunity to take control of a state and bring in every chesting method to main tain control.
They are just waiting to take control of 38 states.
Of course it's not just fraud. It's enough people voting moron in these states that the moron party can then have the small enough margins to steal the races.
I personally think DeSantis would have a better shot at winning, but who do you hope to convince on a conservative board ranting about Trump like the Marxists do? Even if Trump isn’t our nominee, we need him to remain a force within the party as a counterbalance to the RINOs.
You can call me any name in the book. I own my vote and it will never be cast for DeSantis. I can see only one exception going forward. Trump drives a knife into the heart of the GOPe, creates a 3rd Party as an option, and I see DeSantis thumb his nose at the establishment and immediately joins that party in support of Trump. If you GOP'ers think this is a one off threat then you and them are seriously mistaken.
Just as the despots I mentioned "came to an end". so too, the evil actors in our nation and the world will come to an end.
“Why do the heathen rage, and the people imagine a vain thing?
The kings of the earth set themselves, and the rulers take counsel together, against the Lord, and against his Christ, saying,
Let us break their bands asunder, and cast away their cords from us.
He that sitteth in the heavens shall laugh: the Lord shall have them in derision.
Then shall he speak unto them in his wrath, and vex them in his sore displeasure.
Yet have I set my king upon my holy hill of Zion.
I will declare the decree: the Lord hath said unto me, Thou art my Son; this day have I begotten thee.
Ask of me, and I shall give thee the heathen for thine inheritance, and the uttermost parts of the earth for thy possession.
Thou shalt break them with a rod of iron; thou shalt dash them in pieces like a potter's vessel.
Be wise now therefore, O ye kings: be instructed, ye judges of the earth.
Serve the Lord with fear, and rejoice with trembling.
Kiss the Son, lest he be angry, and ye perish from the way, when his wrath is kindled but a little. Blessed are all they that put their trust in him. - Psalm 2:1-12
The only salvation is rebuilding the GOP with ballers. Everything else is folly.
A few years ago several of Home Depot’s top vice presidents decided they could do a better job doing what Home Depot does, they hated the direction the company was going under certain leaders, sound familiar, they started an upstart company, I don’t remember what they called it, but 5 years later Home Depot bought the company and fired the executives.
Trying to make a new party will have the same fate. Where’s the Tea Party? Constitution Party? Reform Party? Those were going to replace the GOP in the past 15 years or so, they’re in the dustbin of poorly executed pipe dreams now.
What about the Libertarians? John Birch Society?
These are just a partial listing of conservative leaning parties, the leftards have malcontents also who form doozies like The Green Party or the Marijuana Party, I’m sure they have one or more dedicated to groomers and their types.
The list of political parties is almost endless as is the numerous nationalities that are floating around in America. Have you ever looked at your presidential ballot?
We voters need to participate more not less if we want competent representation. It all starts at our local precinct. And our side has to decide if they love Liberty more than our leftard neighbor covets communism.
And independent Trump is a Democrat wet dream. Not just no but HELL NO.
We haven’t tried everything yet. I think it’s time for our side to face reality and start focusing on mail-in votes, ballot harvesting, etc. and try to beat them at their own game where we can’t change that game. They have a huge advantage if they have several weeks to get their people to vote and we have one day or if they go and collect people’s ballots and so on.
Shouldn’t we at least try their free for all first? At best, we’ll get control of state legislatures, attorneys general, and governors, and improve the ridiculous banana republic election rules they’ve instituted in many places. At worst, the leftists will start screaming that ballot harvesting is fraud and then they’ll be shown up as hypocrites and might even end up support election integrity themselves.
Whatever the case may be, we can’t just give up and let the Dems have a totally free hand, which they will if we go third party or simply give up. The grassroots can change things, and if not, let’s at least not go down without pushing back.
Mitch did say candidates matter. Like it or not we chose Trump endorsed candidates in the primaries. Those who opposed the “GOPe” and wanted to stick it to McConnell need to be held accountable for their losses. That includes Donald Trump.
Omg. What has happened to FREEPERS?
This was MID-TERMS!!!!!
ONLY TRUMPTY DUMPTY MADE IT ABOUT 2024!!!!!!!!
The stink of HIS losing cost us the Senate and maybe even the House. Yur damn tootin I’m livid with anger over this 80 old washed up LOSER making it about HIM!!!!!
And I care not what The Cult of Trump Worshippers say here.
Them and the QTARD IDIOTS have ruined this board, time to tear out the shack walls of the fetid Trump clan screaming TRUMP FIRST! MAKE TRUMP GREAT AGAIN!
Dump the Trump, for America
“No its not .
A over the top comment .”
We are now sheep lined up for slaughter...You better pray it is only as bad as California that we’ve become.
It's quite simple really. We are done with republicans. Every day now, you're numbers are dwindling. You of course are free to continue shuffling the deck chairs and proclaiming that the band plays on. "First we *uck Trump..." You remember that? You GOPe clowns got your wish. Now you have to live with it. A perpetual permanent minority. I'm sure Mitch is orgasmic.
The democrats control the vote counting so the GOP is really dead
Exactly why I switched my affiliation to Indy after 2020. . . (after 50 years of voting Republican.) RebubliCANTS just CANT.
