The casting of the original shows were quite good.
Although the reboot of the Addams family was quite good.
The characters in this Munsters reboot don’t look right to me, so I am not expecting this to be very good.

Fred Gwynne would be extremely hard to replace. "The Munsters Today" showed how if you are not careful, the result looks like something off of cable access television.
It was smart to redo the iconic TV opening for the trailer, so we know it is meant to be a true carrying on of the original show, and not something unrecognizable because of the ego of the director, a desire to modernize, or the studio not understanding why the show was loved in the first place (e.g. "Lost in Space", "The Fugitive", "The Prisoner", "The Honeymooners", etc.)

Although the reboot of the Addams family was quite good. I don't know if there is anyone other than Raul Julia who could have played Gomez Addams. It was like he was born for the role. Christina Ricci was a phenomenal Wednesday Addams.
The 1993 sequel would have been better left undone. It strayed too far from the macabre sense of humor of Charles Addams.
