It has been said before, by many people, that there are four boxes in politics: The Soap Box (or expressing yourself), the Ballot Box (voting), the Jury Box (legal challenges to bad voting or speech suppression), and the Cartridge Box (the use of firearms).
The Soap Box has been squelched by an unholy alliance between government and social media (and search engines), although Elon Musk may rescue Twitter. So, the Soap Box is mostly gone.
The Ballot Box has been diminished, almost to the point that it doesn't even matter any more. This has been done through a combination of Democrat voter fraud and superior tactics in ballot harvesting and early voting.
The Jury Box seems to be nearly impotent, inasmuch as the SCOTUS refuses to touch national elections, and won't interfere in government / business alliances to suppress free speech.
So we are left with the Cartridge Box. But even there, I don't see what we could do.
There is a longstanding Journalist premise that in any article, you should speak about WHO, WHAT, WHEN, WHERE -- and if known, WHY. So let us speak to the WHAT. Yes, we all have guns. What do we do?
WHERE do we assemble? If we congregate at one location, weapons of area destruction ensure we are hamburger. If we go the anonymous resistance cell method, today's surveillance capabilities (and the infiltration that follows) renders us ineffective.
Besides, WHO do we attack? I feel going after individuals or institutions, even political types, makes martyrs of them and villains of us.
It’s not so much the HOW. Even if they took every gun away, the level of technology available to many people, makes everyone very dangerous. The problem is WHAT and WHO and WHERE.
There’s also a level of WHY. I know WHY. But in this context, the WHY refers to resolve and motivation. There is one fellow I know, a dead-eye shot. Very good. But when things went south in 2020, I contacted him, and he responded he was standing down. “If y’all can’t even vote right or stop the fraud, why should I stick my neck out?”
I think the WHY is the most important part: Motivation. Tanks could not stop the revolution during the collapse of the Soviet Union. The people had had enough. Those that were in the tanks, joined the side of freedom.
If you convince a critical mass people that ‘enough is enough’, and you convince them all to act, there is nothing that can stand before them. It’s like that old Conan movie, the “Riddle of Steel.” Steel is not strong. Flesh (and the willingness of the flesh to act) is STRONG.
That’s why the indoctrination of our youth is so dangerous. That’s why suppression of content and information is so dangerous. That is why our most important fights are to preserve free speech, to educate our young, and to continue to share ideas among ourselves.
You love me. I can tell by the slant of the font you use.
Saturday nite “I love you”
Thread,,,
I may have a White Russian.
No, it’s not an “I Love You” thread, it’s a “Gina Loves Me” thread.
Amen Sis.
so thankful He’s always ‘...a very present help in times of trouble.’
:-D Laz, I do love you.
I heard that you said earlier that you weren’t voting anymore, and I was just about to search to find here where you said that, because that’s what I said after the Great Election Heist of 2020. I’M DONE VOTING. And I’ve received (not so) friendly fire for saying so. To those who scold me, I ask if they would say that to those who refuse to vote in Venezuela, Iran or Russia. Yeah. We’re there.
I won't vote any more, but I'd be QUITE happy to ballot-harvest for our side.
Why vote if I can, instead, bring in 25,000 votes?
HAHAHAHAHA!!! Guys! :-D
Because ballot harvesting is only "legal" for the communists. If you do it, it will be the only time you do, before you're sent to the American gulag for the rest of your life.
I might have one myself ...
There are states where ballot harvesting is legal. I’m in one of them. I intend to ballot-harvest until my nipples chafe.
HOY!
:-)
They want us either burned or digging our own mass unmarked graves.
We aren’t worthy of a coffin
Our vote is gone. There is only one way to get it back.
The Battle of Athens, Tennessee is the model.
In some places the vote is still valid but for those where it is not, this has become the only way to preserve liberty.

The GIs acted boldly and succeeded in an honest election but failed to conclude the action favorable since they had no plan after victory and things got back out of hand.
I am more willing, though less able at this point. Still, as you indicate, I so far don’t know where I need to point my rifle. So I get older as I bide my time and oil my hardware.
Thank you!
You are awarded a Taxman Bravo Zulu!
My crystal ball:
_resident Sloe Joe and Vice _resident The Hoe and their criminal administration are purposely destroying the USA.
As their Reign of Destruction and Terror continues, our society will eventually “bottom out.” Much like the alcoholic who finally admits that he has a problem, we will come to our senses and recover.
That is, we will throw the EVIL bastards in prison and Make America Great Again!
I realize it’s written in semi-jest, but I tend to agree with much of it.
As long as there’s no consequence to fraud, they will use fraud to steal elections and undermine our nation.
You can’t vote communism out.
Usually, most efforts suffer from the same fatal flaw that the March for life and Phyllis never succumbed to. They didn't sit down. Phyllis never sat down. She won. The March for Lifers never sat down. Roe is gone, even, and they're still not sitting down. It's amazing! It's amazing to see people on our side who can't sit down. They're so rare.
"I disagree with those who claim that conservatives never put up a fight."
I'm in agreement and make that claim myself. Posting on a forum or adding content to Facebook is not "putting up a fight". I love FReepers and everybody here are the best people in the country, and I love communicating (or if you prefer, complaining) to and with the best of them, but none of what happens here is actionable.
When Obergefell was handed down, I didn't see any protests. Did you? An even better example is the craziness in the schools. I watch these videos from school board events where the FBI are labeling people terrorists. There were 50 people that showed up. 50! 75 people showed up to others. Sure, every now and then you get a packed house, but when 50 people show up, you cannot go around saying that people are putting up a fight. I'm sorry, you don't get that. This isn't a fight. Even threats to our children are not enough to get people mobilized. Even as parents, people refuse to get involved.
And even if you say "Yeah well that's what got Glenn Younkin elected!" Yeah? And so what? That was just an election, nothing more. Without activism from people who refuse to show up, anybody who does what Younkin is doing dies on the vine because they have no support from the people. Our problem is not political, this is a cultural problem. There are Younkins who come and there will be Younkins who go. But the same cultural problem remains. "Protesting doesn't work. I have a job." Nobody will defend their freedom.
Conservatives have a mistaken belief that you can just win the election, wipe your hands of it, and then disappear for the next 729 days. "I'll see you at the next election." Reality doesn't work that way, that's a recipe for massive defeat. Every day has to involve the fight. But that's not what our side wants. And I do think it stems in part from the very idea I originally replied to you on: "However, when we do protest, even in large numbers, we are mostly polite and ineffective."
I've seen variations of this idea posted a thousand different ways about the stupidity of protests or how activism is somehow a "left wing thing". "Protesting doesn't work. I have a job." I'm sorry, but no, the first amendment is not a left wing thing it's our Founding Fathers telling us we better stop what we're doing and get out there with our sharpies and pitchforks do our jobs to save our liberties! Our Founders were definitely protesters. Why are we so unwilling to follow their model?
Really, our side wants to be the Silent Majority, but there is no Silent Majority. A silent group is a non-group. They're just spectators. They're not on the field making changes in the game as its played. Yes, I'm using Jesse Kelly's analogy from around 10 minutes in this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=g9k6eF8SzHc
Silent people do not matter. Jesse's right. And not even that Jesse is right, this is a self-evident truth.
When a day comes that 5,000 to 10,000 people are showing up to school board events(and every event, for YEARS) because of the danger that the schools consistently present to their children, then I would like to have a discussion with you about people putting up a fight. When the school board meeting shuts down several blocks downtown every time there's a meeting, let's talk. Right now? Everybody's sitting down. Everybody is silent right now. We know what silence looks like, we're living it right now ever day.
That's why I took to giving away open source audio books, what else was I supposed to do when there are no activists to be found? I personally wasn't going to sit down. But my vision is good enough for me to see that I am in fact alone, there isn't a person for miles, MILES, around me.
I live in an activist desert. Plenty of sand. No people.
They are probably coming for you no matter what at this point.
I would say over 100 years at this point. It got started in the Progressive era with Wilson and his people.
