I’d call that a win-win. We get Palin elected, and get rid of the ranking vote scam.

If I am underestanding how Ranked Choice works...
Begich, Nick REP 51,927 24.19%
Bye, Chris LIB 3,716 1.73%
Palin, Sarah REP 57,035 26.57%
Peltola, Mary S. DEM 101,441 47.26%
Write-in 540 0.25%
Even if all of Bye's and write-in's 2nd choices go to Peltola,(they wont) she doesn't get to 50+%.
They are now gone and it comes down to Begish's 2nd choices. Would they be for the Rat Begich ?

Impossible!
To win under ranked choice voting you normally must be only the second or third most popular choice.
Being top choice in ranked choice is designed to give the losers a second shot at that winner’s “lead”, meaning it is designed to keep losers in power.
It is remarkably effective at that.
