Maricopa County’s Unique Process in Handling Ballots Exposes Added Opportunity for Fraud

Maricopa County is the only jurisdiction in the country that picks up completed ballots at USPS Processing Distribution Center, but doesn’t bring them back to the election department or tabulation center.

Maricopa County picks up mail-in ballots and takes them directly to its print vendor Runbeck Election Services, which is headquartered in Phoenix.

Every single completed mail-in ballot, whether mailed or dropped off at a polling place, goes to Runbeck. All mail-in ballots collected on election day, and the previous few days, are sitting at Runbeck headquarters. Maricopa has no idea how many ballots are in their possession because the ballots are at their print vendor.

...Runbeck scans the ballots in batches to create a digital image of each envelope signature area. This batch of images is given to the Maricopa tabulation center (MCTEC) for poll worker review. MCTEC notifies Runbeck if any of those signatures don’t match. Runbeck separates out those bad envelopes, then delivers both sets of these envelopes by van to MCTEC, which is 6 miles away. MCTEC then opens the envelopes and starts the tabulation process.

This “batch” process is repeated until all “mail-in” ballot envelopes are scanned at Runbeck. This takes 10-12 days after every general election, and ballots envelopes are delivered each day by Runbeck vans. Runbeck uses the Bluecrest Vantage mail processing machines to scan these ballot envelopes. This machine can process 40-50,000 ballots an hour. These machines can also automatically scan the ballot signatures using embedded commercial-grade check cashing signature software from Parascript. But Maricopa continues to use its slow manual “batch” process of reviewing signatures.

These Vantage machines cost $1.06 million each,... Maricopa could purchase two of these machines and process roughly 90,000 ballots an hour in-house. But Maricopa continues to re-sign contracts with Runbeck...

This is a travesty.

Meanwhile in Nevada Laxalt who made all the talk shows yesterday saying it was impossible for him to lose is now the projected loser to the rat. Let these Dems keep counting and they never lose.

I had suspected that Republicans with a pedigree in the party like Laxalt and Sununu in NH are permitted to win because they are closet RINOs. I just don't know how bad the fraud can be before people take more aggressive action, such as the unspoken last resort.

So I am not sure I am understanding this correctly but it sounds like ballots that were already counted were mixed with the door 3 ballots. What a mess.

Double counting Dem ballots is what they did in GA in 2020. It was even on video and nothing was done about it. It wouldn't be at all surprising that AZ does that too. Then they could add more straight Dem ballots to cover themselves.

In this case it might have been a way to keep those vastly republican ballots from ever being counted. I can’t say too much because I really don’t completely understand what is going on. I am not totally positive what the box 3 ballots were mixed with. It appears to be somewhat of a secret.

Another m[o]ckery is letting one candidate for governor have control of state-wide election processes.

Just saw a timestamped pic of her standing IN THE COUNTING ROOM while the process was ongoing. Being a candidate in election, she SHOULD show good common sense and send in a minion to do whatever she did that required her presence there. That would have been the LAWFUL thing to do.

If anything goes to court, and respectable judge has to know she has a massive conflict of interest in this election. She should not get the benefit of any doubts in litigation, and this election has been an embarrassment.

Runbeck is famous for mis-aligned ballots...ask Tarrant County TX about 2020 ballots from Runbeck. Runbeck prints ballots for most of the big problem city locations.

There is NO *Chain of Custody* in AZ. It’s a abject, fraud-riddled failure.
