This sort of thing has also been happening in Canada, Scotland, England, and probably other European countries. A new paganism is forming, a paganism without (so far) temples and gods with specific names and images, but which seems to have a dark spiritual undercurrent which may take on specific forms at some point.

This neo-paganism is using the abortion, LGBTQ+, and environmental movements as its political vehicles, and it seems to be explicitly targeting Christians and Christianity, at least those forms of Christianity which do not agree to their virtual paganization. Even in the US, there are already efforts to keep traditional Christians out of certain professions, including law, medicine, education, counseling, and even politics.

Their temple is the natural world and their false gods are trees and wild animals.

However, worship of “nature” inevitably leads to worship of satan and of self.

Spend some time in the liberal areas of Colorado and you’ll experience this.

There is a genuine dislike and disdain for fellow humans among many of the people in those areas, and a genuine worship of wild creatures and the physical self.
