Luke 21:35-36 is talking about Daniel’s 70th Week AKA the seven-year tribulation and escaping such by being taken to Heaven with Jesus and the Holy Spirit. The tribulation isn’t here and will not come until after the “great catching up” of the church AKA “the rapture”. Much to be done before that happens as I detail below.
Response, I agree with everything stated. My point was, we are witnessing the stage being set for prophetic fulfillment. And the Scripture I quoted was perhaps not the best. And yes this is speaking of those Jews during the Tribulation Period fleeing into Judea, which will likely be the destination of Petra.
To answer you question, yes, I foresee America surviving another two years under the current despotic leadership.
One reason: Luke 14:23, Jesus prophetic parable about a worldwide revival just before he comes hasn’t yet taken place (see also Matt. 24:38) and before that, Jude 3 and Revelation 3:18 must be fulfilled in the church.
Response, not so sure however that I believe America can survive. We were once a Blessed nation under God’s Grace. But we are now a nation shaking a fist in the face of God daring Him to respond.
And all things are of God, who has reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, and has given to us the ministry of reconciliation; To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and has committed unto us the word of reconciliation.2 Cor. 5:18-19.
God isn't mad at America and the world. He wants to use America to help implement Luke 14:23. There is enough faith in America I believe to make that happen.
I think we are in for some surprises.
