Who Is Surprised by Last Night’s “Election” Results in the Senate or House?

After the complete and total lay down in response to the 2020 “election” by the DC Uniparty (R), who’s surprised the democrats took advantage of their allies’ gift? If you are surprised, why?

“Perhaps the only way to assure a “free and fair” election is to do away with the “secret ballot”.”

Check out 1976, close enough for me. Do it that way, problem solved.

I am surprised a single republican was allowed to win.

I have consistently predicted this every day since 1/7/21. That’s the day democracy died. Yes, dead and gone. Certainly not resuscitated by that illegitimate gang in DC.

Very well said, and I have had that suspicion about the prophetic for some time, too, sadly.

Not at all surprised.
Leadership supported sure votes to cement their power over the best candidates. They withheld money to assure their results, and even campaigned for them.
The D’s have a history of shadiness, and the R’s have a legacy of inadequacy and lack of backbone.
And, to top it off is the idiocy of the voters. Pa elected a Senator unable to think or speak based on his recent appearances. The article above this one on FR was the election in Nashville of a dead Democrat, proving the public is so well informed and unable to think.

For conservatives the GOP is a Judas Goat Party and I’m a man who voted for McConnell seven f’n times.

True, but replaced with what? A new party? A take over of one of the other insignificant parties?

I have no idea what it would take for people in this country to wake up to the destruction that is occurring and will be occurring in the near future, before there is some grand lurch towards freedom and liberty of the past.

I just see a slow decay of the country until we are little more like ancient Rome, dissolving into the dustbin of history ... and my 8 yr old daughter along with all the young children of today curse the past generations for their treachery of abandoning our freedoms when they will be the ones with the endless boot stomping on their faces.

It does not help when you have these two trying to lose - McCarthy and McConnell.

freedom and liberty of the past

It is freedom and liberty which have allowed the communist revolution to progress to the cusp of victory.

We don't need more.

I am surprised a single republican was allowed to win

Why?

The national GOP agenda aligns nicely with left wing Democrats, other than on cultural issues which are not important to our rulers.

He wasn’t the only Founding Father to hold this view. Indeed, James Madison wrote that our Constitution requires “sufficient virtue among men for self-government,” otherwise, “nothing less than the chains of despotism can restrain them from destroying and devouring one another.” Stole your graphic.

Until the citizens of states like Pennsylvania rise up and say no to mail in voting the GOP won’t win again. Trump will lose in 2024.

**********

I hate to even think something like this, but maybe we need to OUT-CHEAT them on mail-in. If they thought we could beat them at their own game, I dare say that game would end right quickly.

I believed Fox News and Hannity! What a Joke—No Red Wave! ONLY Ron DeSantis performed well. I am done with Trump! I blame him and his acid personality for the loss. He became the lodestone of the Democrats to seal the anti-Trump block and cancel the red wave. I also blame Linsy G. For his “Ban Abortion Talk—that helped to seal Democrat victory. Old Linsey’s proposal would have been tossed in court. He’s a closet Democrat/Prog. We were duped. Democrats will slip us into WW III—to de-populate the planet. Life is a piece of s—t today. Few victories and a lot more of the same. I think I am ready to dump the GOP! The Democrats will get better ration cards in the future.

The words of George Carlin never rang more true today....

“Forget the politicians. The politicians are put there to give you the idea that you have freedom of choice. You don’t. You have no choice. You have owners. They own you. They own everything. They own all the important land. They own and control the corporations. They’ve long since bought and paid for the Senate, the Congress, the state houses, the city halls. They got the judges in their back pockets and they own all the big media companies, so they control just about all of the news and information you get to hear. They got you by the balls. They spend billions of dollars every year lobbying. Lobbying to get what they want. Well, we know what they want. They want more for themselves and less for everybody else, but I’ll tell you what they don’t want. They don’t want a population of citizens capable of critical thinking. They don’t want well-informed, well-educated people capable of critical thinking. They’re not interested in that. That doesn’t help them. That’s against their interests. That’s right.”
