I think it is sad that so many are placing on President Trump what should be placed on our RINOs who are actually in office holding power and responsible for fostering and supporting new leaders.

President Trump is their scapegoat. It is misplaced disappointment and frustration.

Sending President Trump into the wilderness solves nothing, but organizations need scapegoats to take responsibility for the errors to feel better about themselves and absolve themselves of their own failures.

I am in Arizona. While both Lake (Gov.) and Masters (Sen.) are MAGA, Lake was louder and more vociferous about it. She also ran a better campaign. She is doing better than Masters, and much better than Dodson-Robb (non MAGA primary opponent) would have. Whether DeSantis or Trump gets the nomination in 2024 doesn't have a lot of bearing on the 2022 ballot. Lake is still within striking distance running against the person responsible for the voting mess in AZ.

Each race is different, and Masters was on video talking about privatizing Social Security. Trump NEVER did that. So, when they call Masters "Too Extreme for Arizona", they ran that clip on Social Security. That cost him.

The opposition (both party and PAC) mostly avoided tying Lake or Masters to Trump. They ran positive "personality" ads, bi-partinsanship ads, and to a lesser degree abortion ads. Heck, they even pretended to "have a plan for the border" Apparently some bought it.

If we elect abortionists because the country supports abortion, we deserve what we get.

I agree completely with you in regards to the self serving rino establishment, FRiend, but that does not make Trump any less of a liability going forward, nor does it keep someone else from, God willing - stepping up to continue to move forward on the path Trump blazed.

Prayers for guidance and strength.
