I met his pop once, in the 80’s when he was a good governor ( no tax on beer!) a real genuine nice guy. He invited the train crew into the special rail car for sandwiches and drinks at an event celebrating extension of electrified line to Jersey shore.
Your comment about Hunterdon is accurate. I’ve lived here 38 years and can attest to the political shift. Not sure Kean kas won yet but it’s likely.
The local elections here always go Republican, but the national candidates often don’t.
