I recall 2004 when John Kerry appeared on
ESPN’s coverage of Sun Night Baseball with
the Red Sox at Fenway Park. I think this was
just before the DNC. Biased!

“I’m John Kerry and I’m...reporting for
duty!”
A senator named Barack Obama spoke at the conv.

Months later the Kerrys gathered in Boston
on election night. It didn’t go well.
“Can I be the first to call you...Mr President?,” asked Bob Shrum.

Al Franken and a new radio network called Air America broadcast from Boston around Election Day. They were expecting a big victory for Kerry.

Another man shouted to the Republicans “This is why the rest of the world calls us ignorant Americans. You obviously don’t read the newspapers, or you would not believe as you do.”

A woman, unhappy the Republicans were there, screamed, “Someone shut up those idiots.”

Brian Henchey, one of the College Republicans marching through the crowd told CNSNews.com that he had “never seen more sad and depressed faces in my life than what I
have seen here in Copley Square tonight.”

Was this the same game-side interview where Kerry identified his favorite Red Sox of all time as “Manny Ortiz”? What a putz!
