They had a couple of players get Covid. They would have had plenty left to play games.
Even so, so what? My point is it wasn't government initiated.
You said it never even happened.
Your major concerts articles were dated after Houston canceled their Livestock Show and Rodeo and the Eagles canceled their Dallas show.
Again, so what? Read the articles - they didn't cancel because of government mandates.
Your Tuscon article is dated January 2022, which is two years beyond the scope of this discussion of the early days.
I know. It proves that even recently businesses were shutting down because of Covid concerns even though all government restrictions had been lifted.
Boy, that's insensitive.
It's like saying that a couple of people got cancer working at a manufacturing plant, but we still have plenty of workers to keep it going instead of shutting it down to look for possible sources of contamination.
Even so, so what? My point is it wasn't government initiated. You said it never even happened.
Now you're putting words in my mouth again. I never said it never happened.
You said "No one forced the NBA, NHL, concert promoters, etc. etc. to shut down."
I showed you how the mayor of Houston shut down the premier annual city event, how the state of Texas issued executive orders shutting down public gatherings, "non-essential" businesses, and quarantining travelers within two weeks of the CDC's 14 days protocol. Texas shut these things down until they knew more.
But you're the one who said "no one" did these things.
