They just boosted my Metoprolol dose and prescribed Eliquis (2/day, expen$ive) and another “blood pressure” med, Amlodipine.

The Eliquis is to prevent clotting. The others are to aid in keeping heart in rhythm, I think.

Hope to be cleared from A Fib next month from January’s medical misadventure.

Been on Eliquis since last October when clots in the lungs hit me.

Am on a heart monitor for a couple more weeks then a surgeon follow up to see what the verdict is.

If you get lightheaded when standing up, it may be your Metoprolol dosage. Keep an eye on that. Drug expense? Try GoodRX. It works.
