BARRY COUNTY, MI -- A West Michigan prosecutor has suggested her county’s sheriff is wasting critical resources in his ongoing investigation into alleged 2020 election fraud.
Barry County Prosecutor Julie Nakfoor Pratt spoke Tuesday, Oct. 25 to her county’s Board of Commissioners about the allegations, which she says are simply unfounded.
Barry County Sheriff Dar Leaf for many months has been pursuing the investigation.
Leaf, at the same time, is under scrutiny by a special prosecutor over claims he played a role in a voting machine’s removal from Barry County’s Irving Township for examination. The removal was not proper, state officials said.
At Tuesday’s meeting, Pratt said she’s refused to sign search warrants for Leaf based on the evidence.
“There is no evidence of wide voter fraud in this county. There just isn’t, that I can see,” she said. “And it’s been a year and a half. If there is, prove it and I’ll take a look at it.”
“Let’s move on,” she said.

Many Michigan Republicans who are in politics are Assistant Democrats.
They know they'll get their share of the political "pie" in that red state, so they're OK with Democrats running wild with vote fraud in the blue areas.
Of course she does not see any. She hasn't taken a look at all.

I’m in complete agreement. That this snake gets away with cricular BS is disgusting. First deny the Sheriff’s request for search warrants, then bitch that he hasn’t turned up the proof that search warrants are used to find. Whenever lawyers start the Clinton-style language games, you know they are GUILTY:
Why insert “wide” before “voter fraud”? So Pratt knows there is “narrow voter fraud”, but refuses to let the sheriff search for proof, lest one thing lead to another. What does “wide” even mean in this context? Is a small amount of fraud ok by Pratt? Does she only sign search warrants for mass murder cases, but not one-off killings?
Her choice of “voter fraud” deflects from the real topic: Election Fraud. She wants us to believe this is a matter of a few miscreant “voters”, not systemic insider Election Fraud by Election Officials, via manipulation of digital systems, the voter rolls, “adjudicating ballots”, backfilling with software-generated ballots, counting illegal absentee and harvested ballots, etc.)
And as you noted, Pratt sets the subjective standard of what “I can see”. She’ll never see anything. The area this woman is in needs to remove her from office ASAP. But that would require a straight election...
Barry county is a rural, red County.
There will be no fraud taking place there.
That’s the advantage of the ad hoc, illegal, mass mail-in ballot scams taking place - they only need to be operated in 1 or 2 counties, like Wayne/Detroit, to swing the entire state.
