Free speech is just that. Free speech. I think LOTS of NBA fans are mightily pissed right now.
Adam Silver is a Jewish. So why is he running the league? I understand he represents the owners. But obviously the players see him as out of touch.
Apparently he posted some links and was told to apologize.
No matter what it was or wasn’t, he should not be sanctioned.

There’s a concerted effort (to me) for media outlets to not mention the name of the film, as I went through over six articles and the film was not named. Seems kind of important to know that bit of info, as it’s at the center of the controversy.
Under United State Civil Rights law religious affiliation is a protected class. If the Black Hebrews is a “religion” then Kyrie might have a case for a lawsuit. If what Kyrie is saying is considered political, he has no case. The Federal Government and most states do not offer any protection of employees from employer action for political affiliation.
Silver has pushed hard to be the Wokest Commissioner in professional sports. He went all in on paying homage Saint Floyd. I guess he has now one of those sweating man does not know which button to choose moments.
I agree. How are we supposed to evaluate something if they don’t provide basic information.
I’m going to speak from my gut.....why are Jews given such super protected do-not-offend status while plain old white Christian people are disrespected, swore at, verbally crucified, called “crackers” and nobody but nobody does a damn thing about it...there are people in this country who suggest killing us and its just ho hum whistling in the air...

We received a corporate HR notice to use people’s pronouns and that was going to be the new policy. I pushed back and asked if this policy change had been approved by Legal.
I also pointed out that to many Christians, using pronouns that conflict with reality is a lie. And that the US courts have pushed back on corporations forcing speech with several recent and related rulings limiting the punishment of users for not complying with the corporate approved speech.
HR quickly backed off. I assume that they had not cleared this with Legal first.
If they continue to insist we play this foolish game, tell them you identify as the age you need for retirement there and wish to start collecting ASAP.
When it costs money they'll pay attention.
