So he has a morals clause in his contract?
They get to demand his certain behavior?
He has a contract to play ball, not tow some philosophical line.
And BTW, I do not agree with his thoughts...I do not understand antisemitism.
I just think there may be a better way to solve the problem. A little education may go a lot farther than some punishment.
We're heading down that woke road. Since Floyd corporate Amerika has bent over backward to ingrain wokedom as much as possible.
At my company not a negative word can be said about people with mental issues over the sex...trannies in other words.
Call homos deviants; say they support pedophiles, etc....and that's a huge no no.
You can. As long as they're the right ones. /sarc
Oh yeah and the mob left is very anti-Semitic.
Silver needs to get over it—if one of his players hates him so what....
Who??
It’s ironic that such a high percentage of American Jews embrace the left that hates them.
Good for him. People want slaves to say what they are told and take their meda when asked. I applaud him for not reading the words they wrote for him.
You’re asking too much. You expect people to tell you what was so anti Semitic about the film? I am fairly confident that most people complaining have never watched the film in question.
I may not agree with Kyrie on a lot of things and maybe he’ll vote for Joe in 2024 (I think he’s more likely not to vote) but he has earned my respect.
Plantation mentality. Silver thinks he is the master.
What did he do to earn your respect?
He's a free thinker. A little like Kayne (although he may be a bit crazy)
Kyrie pointed out that as a young athlete that he didn't need to be vaccinated. I got vaccinated but I respect him for being principled on this issue.
I respect him for holding firm on the vaccine, although maybe he doesn't express himself as well as he could.
I don't think the whole Jews thing is a good thing. I suspect he doesn't have any animosity, but still.
What exactly did he say that was anti semetic?
Sometimes you just have to tune it out when athletes say stupid things like that. Especially Dennis Rodman when he used to play for Chicago Bulls.
What’s most interesting to me is... the group that is the subject of the documentary shared by Kyrie is the same group celebrated by the media when they confronted Nick Sandman and his high school classmates from Kentucky.
It’s quite interesting to watch the media flip flop on an organization that once suited their narrative quite well.
What changed?
Kyrie is a nut job.
Plus he messes up the teams he plays on. He’s a talented player. But he causes more trouble than he’s worth.
I don't watch the NBA anymore but yes you're right. Bad Boys didn't have the most talented players (other than Isiah Thomas) but they had great chemistry and they played 100% in every game.
