Russia to Hand 'Evidence' of U.K. Role in Crimea Strike to Envoy

Moscow will "in the near future" summon the British ambassador to hand over "evidence" of its claim that the U.K. helped orchestrate an attack on the Russian Black Sea Fleet in Crimea, the Foreign Ministry said Wednesday.

Russia has claimed U.K. "specialists" helped Kyiv launch a drone attack on the fleet in Moscow-annexed Crimea at the weekend.

Russia has also accused London of being behind the September explosions on the Nord Stream gas pipelines.

Russian authorities have so far provided no proof to back up their claims.

"The U.K. ambassador will be summoned and will be given the appropriate materials," Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova said, adding the meeting would take place "in the near future."

"The basic materials will be handed over as evidence to the British side and will also be shown to the general public," she added.

The British Ambassador to Russia is Deborah Bronnert.

Zakharova said Moscow will publish the "materials" after its meeting with the ambassador.

On Saturday, the Russian army said Ukraine had launched the drones on its fleet "under the leadership of British specialists in the city of Ochakiv" in southern Ukraine.

If the UK did it (I’m far from convinced) it was certainly not on their own initiative. Just sayin’

“If the UK did it (I’m far from convinced) it was certainly not on their own initiative.”

The country that is the ramrod behind this debacle needs a way out because it can’t win. Everybody knows what country that is but is afraid to say it out loud.

⚡️⚡️⚡️Moscow has information that London has transferred a certain number of unmanned underwater vehicles to Kiev, the Russian Foreign Ministry has said.

⚡️The British ambassador was told that hostile provocations were unacceptable and demanded that they be stopped immediately.

⚡️Additionally, a protest has been lodged against the kingdom’s active involvement in the training of Ukrainian law enforcers.

😎Considering that the ambassador ran out of the building after the meeting, immersed in her own thoughts and did not communicate with journalists, it is an indication that the protest was expressed very harshly and intensely. Five times.

Russia already took out the NATO command center in Ochakiv the British were operating from with two missile strikes the next day. Unclear whether any Western operators were killed but presumably the British got the message.

😏 Report about the activities of US Navy information operations specialists in Ukraine
━━━━━━━━━━━━
— by @rybar (translated by @fodeve, sevmob.t.me)

A few days ago, a group of specialists from the US Naval Information Operations Training Command unofficially arrived in Kyiv. It is located in Virginia Beach, Virginia and is headed by Commander John Coupland. (https://rybar.ru/piwigo/upload/2022/11/03/20221103083755-2117c8ed.jpg)

😏 What is this structure?

Command (Information Warfare Training Center - Virginia Beach) located at Dam Neck Training Center on the US East Coast.

This is one of four training facilities administered by the US Navy’s Center for Information Warfare Training.

In turn, the IWTC-VB command is subdivided into four more branches, each of which performs a certain range of tasks: two in the state of Florida, one each in Georgia and Connecticut.

😏 Why did American specialists come to Ukraine?

The main directions of such training centers are the training of specialists in information and psychological operations, electronic intelligence, mechanical engineers of high-tech equipment, as well as signalmen and cryptographers of closed communication systems.

¹One of the possible reasons for sending US information operations specialists to Ukraine may be the installation and configuration of closed satellite communications systems for special forces units and the Ukrainian Center of Information and Psychological Operations (CIPsO).

²However, there is another option, even more likely in the current conditions: the Americans could arrive to train the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the use, maintenance and tactics of using marine unmanned vehicles.

The latest version is supported by the fact that among the staff and instructors of the command there are former and current military personnel of the 1st division of unmanned underwater vehicles as part of the 5th experimental submarine squadron of the US Navy.

They operate on the basis of the Naval Submarine Warfare Center of The Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) - one of the five backbone commands of the US Navy, which also includes the command of information operations of the Navy.

It is the specialists of such structures that carry out primary research, development, design, testing of submarines and autonomous vehicles in the interests of the US Armed Forces.

😏 In the context of the active use of new type of marine drones by the Armed Forces of Ukraine, which no NATO country has previously demonstrated publicly, the arrival of a reconnaissance team looks quite logical.

And direct control over the testing of autonomous vehicles in a real combat situation is an excellent opportunity for the United States their strengths and weaknesses.

What, like when Russia attacked British citizens on British soil with chemical/radiological weapons on more than one occasion? If the UK did this, the Russians had it coming.
