Well, I just got in from a Herschel Walker rally held in my precinct. I'm glad I went.

I am the precinct captain for West Saint Marys. I was standing talking to another person when one of the people from Herschel's advance team comes up with one of our other precinct captains and asks me if I would lead the Pledge of Allegiance. Of course I said yes.

I don't know who thinks he can't speak well. He sounded fine to me. He's not a professional speaker but you can tell that he means every word he says.

I stuck around after his speech and got to talk with him just before he left. I thanked him for his support of the Navy.
