Harry Potter fantasy aside, insane and seems impossible. Several of my ancestors were jailed for witchcraft in that part of the state. I put it down to them having unpleasant personalities, or to having made the wrong kind of enemies. There is no such thing as witchcraft, but there are an amazing number of kinds of insanity that are no longer treated seriously and which should fill institutions that a liberal lawyer friend of mine helped empty.

I attended night College in the early eighties, took an elective on Religion, had a Teacher...definitely NOT a professor...who thought all the witchcraft and other “spiritual” nonsense was DEFINITELY ON THE RISE IN POPULARITY.
