he will never apologize. I had worked with him for years, and he was a fun guy even though he was a big liberal. His wife often had get togethers and parties at their home, and the first time we met we hit it off and after that we were best friends. Unfortunately she passed away from cancer in 2018. I still miss our phone calls after I moved to Texas. Anyway, after he did that to me, I thought, well Phyllis wouldn’t have let him get away with that. 😪
So many people have completely LOST family members....for good. We have had so many people at the farm for the last two years, as we defied the stupid tyrants and made it a sanctuary for normal people. Skating rink, bon fires, barbeques, lots of company and lots of people who no longer wanted to see family. So awful, but when you’ve been told to stay away from Christmas dinner, or a wedding, or had Christmas dinner completely cancelled because you planned to attend...you don’t get over that kind of treatment. It reveals something in people that you didn’t know was there. Perhaps, in the long run, it’s a good thing. You really do find out where you stand.
