This is just another way of saying, "I am going to hold on to my prejudices regardless of what evidence to the contrary is out there that disproves my position." It's not even certain that visiting Ukraine in person would change your mind.
You can believe whatever you want from whatever media you listen to.
I will choose to not believe any of it until this war is over and some resolution comes to Ukraine.
As far as holding to prejudices, actually 10-15 years ago I would have been all for kicking the Russians out of Ukraine.
After Iraq and Afghanistan and 20 years of pointless wars, where the public was consistently lied to about the situation, I can’t go back and believe this same media is now telling the truth about Ukraine.
