Trusting the military team he competed on, the prince brings the team into the palace as security. Which is how his friend meets the prince's sister. Not willing to admit that he, like her, has fallen in love, the friend still makes himself the princess' protection, something desperately needed when she is kidnapped and crippled. While the prince fights to save his throne and fiancée, the emotionally damaged princess must take on the regency, a task made harder by the death of her love.

This is one of the few shows where the secondary couple, the prince's friend and the prince's sister, are as good a matching as the primary couple. At first, I thought they might be going woke by creating a handicapped character but, in fact, it was so integral to the plot that the suspicion died immediately. VERY well written, as well as well acted.
