What knowledge we could assimilate. What help it would be to mankind.
I question whether it will ever happen.

when I had an ischemic stroke a year ago they deliberately kept my blood pressure high for a few days afterward. Stroke wiped out my left side but it has mostly come back.

This does suggest a possible therapy. There are now some artificial bloods that carry as much as 3x the oxygen of regular red blood cells. While trying to replace a lot of blood with it may cause problems, what about using just a bit *added* to the blood?
The trouble is that while there are a bunch of Oxygen therapeutics out there, some even passing Phase III trials, there is a strong hesitancy to giving them approval instead of leaving them in the limbo of “needs more research.”
