Musk’s $44 billion payoff is buying the abandonment of pursuing the real issue. Either internet forums and lunch counters speak for the public at large, and are prohibited from discriminating, or neither speak for the public at large, and both can discriminate.
You can’t have it both ways. It’s one way or the other, and we need the question to be decided by the Supreme Court.
Elon Musk will save a lot of money firing 50% or more of Twitter employees.
