I'm sure the truth is lost on Fetterman, but the Republican Party was founded as the anti-slavery party to oppose the pro-slavery Democrat Party, and it was the Republican Congress that passed the civil rights legislation of the 1960s and 1970s.

It's part of Democrat policy to accuse the opposition of what they're doing and what they are.

The KKK has been active in York since 1920, and rears its ugly head periodically. The most recent outbursts were in 2018.
