An awkward buddy relationship between the new king of a mythical South Korean throne and his military teammate, devoted to protecting that throne.

I Stand Alone - Doug Paisley - lyrics
I remember him from "Three's Company".
He didn't look Korean. But hey, who knows.
Film industry magic and all that..
That was John Ritter. He’s dead.
You’ve brought back an old memory. I enjoyed that show.
I liked him. Sorry to hear that.
Well that doesn't mean he wasn't pretending not to be Korean.
I think my brain just went into a twisty, corkscrewed rollercoaster following that.
By the by, what’s your passion of the day? Mine is following Musk firing computer software engineers. YES!!!!!!!!!!!!
I'm passionless so far today.
Likely to remain so, but I've high hopes for the weekend.
Did you ever watch Perry Mason? Lt. Tragg was a cop that
appeared on nearly every episode. Not a lot of personality
but filled a fairly vital plot role.
During the last 20 minutes of the show was invariably a courtroom
scene where Perry Mason would get to display his smarty-lawyer
chops, really the best part if you ask me. Usually Tragg had to
take the stand to testify about something or other, either for
defense or prosecution.
Almost invariably he was asked to identify an "exhibit", usually
a gun but sometimes a tool or some jewelry or a valuable item.
He'd always answer that he could identify it, saying "Yes, it has my mark."
Seems to me he was fixated with scratching his "mark" on things.
Never mind he was defacing someone's property or destroying the
value of someone's prized possession, he's happy as can be to
blithely etch his initials or some graffiti in whatever comes to hand.
I can picture him after hours in the dark evidence locker, giggling
to himself with his engraving tool in hand.
He's a dang nut.
Absolutely! I was glued to it as a child. Yes, I remember vividly how Mason would make everyone else look like incompetent jerks. And you’re right. I remember little else about the show except Mason’s triumph. I remember Tragg visually, but not much about his actions in the show. I missed the whole engraving part but agree. If you’re going to get evidence back that turns out NOT to be part of what’s needed for the prosecution, then finding someone defaced it would be infuriating. If it was vital and they keep it, then you’ll never know.
Once past my Howdy Doody, Space Rangers and Flash Gordon stage, my favorite shows were Wally Cox in the Adventures of Hiram Holliday and the Grey Ghost, a Southern Cavalry officer and my first autographed photo!
TV also got me into politics as I sat on the floor and watched the whole 1952 Republican convention. In a family of Democrats, I became a Republican that week.
