As my wife says, “much more than women, men are visual. That’s why the cosmetic industry is so huge.”
She quit wearing the stuff about 39 years ago. Saves a lot of money, and all these years I’ve been able to touch her face without hearing: “Don’t, I just put on my make up!”
While she only wore a skin tone, mascara, and lipstick, she says your average madeup woman puts on 6 or 7 products. But the ‘models’ are probably putting on 8 or 9, a couple of the commonly unnoticed being the darker lipstick border below the lower lip (to create an artificial shadow for a fake plup lip look, and the women that have eyebrows that grow long have to trim them. That makes the skin behind them too visible, so out come the eyebrow colored skin tint and brush.
She has said for years: “I’m so glad I’m free from that stuff! What a pain!”
As my French Gypsy wife used to say about French makeup:
The Germans make us cars because we make their woman look acceptable.”

If I was a man, I do not think that I would want to come home to Gisele at all, much less have to do it for 13 years. Like the Brits, yeah she’s fit but she just knows it.
At 42, and rich, why not come home to a peaceful and tranquil place, with no woman around to costantly carp about everthing. Most of my male divorce clients have PTSD of some sort or another, after having put up with crazy women.
