A song from 56 years ago, and quite apt to today.
My mother always wanted a girl, and after three tries, she got a boy, I was her last hope, but when I was born. I had the little appendage in my pelvic area, she was disappointed.
Well she improvised, by letting my long blonde curly locks grow long, and the old ladies at GC Murphy, would say, he looks like a girl.
I thank God, everyday, that there were no hormone trangendering therapies at the time.
What a mess.
