Yes, Latin nouns have 3 genders, both in the singular and plural. German nouns have 3 genders in the singular, but not in the plural.

Genders don’t disappear in German plurals. The endings just become melded together and are no longer distinct. A speaker/writer has engrained that the genders of nouns do not disappear even if the endings no longer give away what the underlying gender is.
