I haven’t listen to the magic guys episode, but I do know a little bit about the gunpowder plot. While following one of my ancestors who was involved in the Spanish blanks plot, I got very interested in that history. There were multiple attempts on Queen Elizabeth I’s life after her ascension to the throne and most of them were instigated by the Jesuits due to the Catholic/protestant conflict that was started by Elizabeth’s father Henry VIII. The most fascinating thing I discovered about all of these different plots was that many of them were instigated by Elizabeth’s secret contingent of spies. They operated exactly the way the FBI and CIA are operating today. Anthony Babington without a doubt was framed and he was executed in the most horrible manner you could possibly imagine. My ancestor worked with the Babington family and a lot of his notes and documents ended up with the government after he was arrested, and therefore in the Archives, so I was able to read them.

The gunpowder plot took place shortly after Elizabeth had died and James had taken the throne. This time the Catholics (and these plots were almost always instigated by the Jesuits) had attempted to load the basement of parliament with large barrel kegs of gun powder and they were going to blow up the whole thing and attempt to kill not just the king but the entire Parliament. Once again a patsy was captured (Guy Fawkes) and more than likely was framed by the secret agencies.

There are very strong comparisons between what was going on back then and what is going on now. And who is Pope Francis? Well, he is a Jesuit. So Very curious.

Which is worse?
If that is our choices today. We're in for a lot of fun times.

Queen Elizabeth I was in my opinion the most notorious super evil out side what we're witnessing today (forced in new era. most call the great reset)
She was the one that inspired Karl Marx and set up the system that created the Irish great famine and so much more. The Jesuits .....
