I watched a youtube video of Lynyrd Skynyrd performing in 1978 in Oakland California. Free Bird. Lots of young people but what I noticed was no tats or piercings.
I am 60 and yes the culture has changed a lot for the worse.
Some things I don’t understand and really don’t want to know.

Good point. Obsession with tattoos and piercings. It’s a sign of sickness. I know we have lots of good people who do that, but it has become the norm. Sorry, it is a sign of sickness - at best, rebellion for rebellion’s sake.

Hey, we forgot the beards!!! Those awful pieces of hair on the faces of each person younger than 40! Everyone wants to look older then they are, what’s up with THAT?
I look at pics from home town football stadiums and see most of the men with jackets and ties. Compared to that generation, we’re low-class bums, IMHO.
