While this is lurid it is just an unusually dramatic version of life in the depraved hobbesian universe of negro America.

I remember a news article in the former “Buffalo Evening News” where they interviewed a 16 or 17 year old mom.
They asked her why she got pregnant and had a child. She said “Because I wanted my own apartment”
Most people would think they had to get a job and have money to afford an apartment.
But she knew that the government would set her up in an apartment and give her enough money to live.
My brother bought a house in that area. 4 people paid the first month rent and never paid again. He spent months evicting each one.
For the 5th one, he went there on the day welfare mail was delivered, and the previous 4 tenants were there waiting to pick up a welfare check. They were all still collecting welfare rent for the same address.
He turned them in, and got the rent money sent to them shut off, so they burned the house down.
