The opening statement should be a doozy.If they get to that point today. State has recalled a prior witness and is going through an extensive evidentiary line tying Brooks to the SUV. Brooks, naturally, is objecting to everything so the testimony takes twice the time it should. I also don't think this will be the last state witness. At best, they rest a little after lunch which, strategically, might not be a bad idea because it limits the time available for Brooks to give his open. If the judge decides that Brooks doesn't have adequate time for his open she might shut down early and have him go tomorrow which allows the jurors to get a little rest and ruminate on what a jerk the guy they will see tomorrow is.

mommy judge is absolutely GUTLESS!!!
she’s issued “one more time” and he interrupts her mid sentence and she stops and turns control over to him again
even after the DA dressed the judge down for not controlling her own court
yes she bends over backward to avoid mistrial, but there has to be a line
precedent is being set here...
