Free speech is being lost under the guise of “fairness”. Most people couldn’t afford a lawyer to help sue for Wrongful Termination, but it is wrong. This is what I would have expected from the Soviets.
Free speech doesn’t mean you can say whatever you want without consequences.
He used his free speech to say something stupid in public. His employer fired him. He still has free speech to say stupid stuff but nobody is forced to employ him.
