Probably a CubeSat — a small cube-shaped research satellite. NASA has put several into orbit over the years and there are probably many more up there by now.

These are encountered in a training area where pilots fly daily. Pilots have been complaining that if something isn't done about them, there's going to be a collision.
They aren't satellites.
