How many people live in flood-prone areas where a gas or diesel powered vehicle can still drive through shallow water or what about folks who live in hurricane prone areas where a full tank of gas can get you to a safer area but even on a full charge your ev will die and leave you stranded on a crowded highway. The mentally challenged leaders on this are either THAT STUPID or are puely evil beyond words.

Yes, I've asked that question myself. Over on Lakeside here in Reno there was for a time a guy charging his EV at the curb with the extension cord running from the car, across the sidewalk, then probably 60-70 feet to the building and who knows where for the final connection. Imagine that for every resident?

When will copper thieves relieve them of the cables?

What happens with rain or snow?

Who has liability for people tripping on the cords or being electracuted?
