Your reply is interesting. How did you teach so much that is clearly not in the LAUSD ciricculum Serious question. After the ‘No Child Left behind’ national standards the only thing that was taught was how to take the standardized tests.
When did the transsexual process begin? I recall Oprah, who was the bell weather for the next perversion to be normalized, starting to push transsexual victimhood about 2010.
I quickly found that in the rougher schools, the principals did not care what you taught, especially at the middle school level. If you went into that room with 36 feral children, closed the door, and no one started any fires, they really did not care. By the end of the first year, I had ascertained that as long as I didn't send kids to the dean, passed the majority of them, and made no demands, I could bring in all the "supplemental material" I wanted. I'd produce enough of the curriculum (heavily modified) to satisfy anyone who inspected (no one did) and gradually moved toward my supplemental material more and more. By my third year, I was making my own material completely. No one cared. My room was under control, I "had few discipline problems," I only flunked the kids who were so completely uncooperative I couldn't get a lick of material out of them, and those principals gave me free reign. Behavioral issues were so out of control in those schools, they were grateful to any teacher who kept the kids in the room and didn't sink the statistics.
