Thank you very much for the prayers for my Daisy!
I just got off the telephone with the surgeon/specialist. He took 6 liver samples - sent off to lab. All areas of liver clotted well. Liver looks abnormal. He said he did “nick” her spleen but that it clotted nicely. He said he put “film” on it anyway to safeguard it. He said she was under anesthesia about 1 hour and is resting now. They will feed her a little dinner in awhile since she tends to vomit bile if food is withheld for too many hours (bile is sticky and a choking hazard in her current condition).
It’s a big vet hospital and so she will be monitored thru the night by a doctor and techs. They will call me if anything happens. I’m praying she will rest and her body will heal. I miss her so much.
The vet liver specialist still thinks it’s likely copper storage disease and hepatitis. We should have results back in a week.
We would really appreciate continued prayer for Daisy. I know she is a dog - but she is so very loved and adored by her family.

Most of us understand. It makes our angst worse knowing that the pets DON’T understand. Our kitty had an iodine treatment for thyroid a few months ago which required her to be isolated at the hospital for four days. Alone. In a glass “cage” (She was radioactive.) They sent pics, and she looked confused. “WHY?”
It was harder on us than on her, I figure.
Hope Daisy is doing better soon and that both of you will be well rested overnight.
