The original article we’re both commenting on was about treating depression. Ketamine is a patented drug from the 1960’s. Obviously psilocybin is not.
Since the ncbi article is so recent it appears pharma is trying to introduce K’s use for depression.
Psilocybin is already being used successfully in treatment for PTSD and depression.
I prefer carefully monitored natural remedies to synthesized chemicals.
I like to follow Andrew Huberman Labs out of Stanford as they do a good job of educating us novices. Here’s one of their podcasts I enjoyed a while back on the same subject.

Bottom line... combined research shows Ketamine and psilocybin near equal in the treatment of depression.
