Serbia was when I realized that our military no longer existed strictly for national defense needs, but rather to put countries that the Left hated ‘in their place’. Then came Libya, Syria, Egypt, etc.
Before Serbia, at least I could justify the military’s use of force in pretty much every case (at least to my satisfaction). Not anymore.
