It’s my wife’s job to take our dogs out to the front yard in the summer because bugs leave her alone as opposed to feasting on me. In turn I take them out after the temps drop below 45 because she hates cold weather, and I could care less. It works.
That’s a solid deal. It sucks being the only one in a group getting destroyed.

I get the bites too. Mosquito are bad but chiggers are way worse. They itch like crazy and I get big red welts and oozing puss. Also in Florida I get the no-see-ums with the same result. I use a repellent and it helps but sometimes I’m out without it and I pay the price for the next two-three weeks.
