This quote was falsely attributed to the author as shown in the quote here, and was even printed on a USPS stamp in her honor. Joan Walsh Anglund once changed the pronouns in the quote and published it in her book as her own, and many other authors, including Tennyson have rephrased it then used it. Iām not sure who the author really is.
