The lion's share of money being spent now on Ukraine never leaves the US: it goes to payback the Pentagon for weapons delivered from US stocks or to US defense contractors.

Bribing US politicians is simply in Ukraine's (and many other foreign powers') best interests. The problem isn't Ukraine, it's corrupt US politicians.

The notion that the US 'installed' a puppet regime is simply nonsense. In fact, Yanukovych revealed himself to be Putin's tool in Ukraine and the Ukrainian people ousted him. We simply went along for the ride, and there have been several new elections since in Ukraine. This can only be a 'provocation' for Russia if you think Russia should control Ukraine. Is that what you think?

It is simply inconceivable to think how a Russian victory in Ukraine could be in US geopolitical interests. If you think Ukraine needs to be defeated to 'get back' at the Deep State, you're no different that communists who cheered on North Vietnam because they hated the US regime so much they saw the victory of a foreign power over the US as a positive step in their own political struggle.
