My take after reading this.
This story has been bubbling up in my mind for the past several months, really due to the Russian invasion of Ukraine.
One lesson that we have all learned is that Russian technology may seem top end, but there is a lot of humanity at the core to keep it all moving.
And that the war god of hubris will bring it all down.
Today many mock the Russian military.
Will the US be the military that is mocked in the next war?
After all, we all prepare for the next war by preparing to win the previous one.
