Discovery should be interesting.

This line gets old here. How do you figure it will be interesting when there's already an official verdict on a defendant whose attorney tried using the same claim in a criminal case (where the standards are higher)?

Agreed. The “discovery will be interesting” trope is endlessly flogged here. This is all a big nothing. The tweet pictured in the article accurately states there is no cause of action for slander of the dead. And the jag off relatives have no cause of action, either
