Infectious Disease ping - Explanation of hesitancy of American parents to vaccinate children for covid-19
Political and social implications

DoodleBob :" Per the CDC, about 1100 children annually under 18 have died with covid on their death certificate...
Unless they're leftists, parents aren't stupid. "

" A new study published in Preventive Medicine reports the results of a survey among parents in this country aimed at identifying the primary risk factors for parental vaccine hesitancy.

"Female parents were more likely to refuse to vaccinate their children, especially if they were Black – possibly due to a lack of trust in the political and medical system.
Those who favored Republican ideology were also six times more likely to refuse than those leaning the other way."

"Among vaccine-willing parents, the two factors that drove the vaccine choice were the associated severe adverse effects and vaccine effectiveness. The most common reasons included fear of long-term health consequences and a perception that the vaccine was too new. The duration of protection offered was also important, while relatively minor factors included the risk of hospitalization among the unvaccinated COVID-19 pediatric patients and local vaccine uptake rates."

(My Comment): The Pfizer and Moderna covid vaccines remain, even today, as experimental biologic injections under "emergency use authorization", as a clinical study
and was rolled out within four and a half months of the initial clinical study by Big Pharma who are indemnified against liability - at no financial risk to their product.
The vaccine is/was a two-fold medical experiment :
The biologic injection, itself, was untested and "experimental"
The means of delivering the vaccine by mRNA is also "experimental"
The long term effects of this injection remain unknown even at this time, but what is known is that the injection alters the human body's immune system,
and we still don't know how long this effect remains in the body.
The Nuremberg Code requires that 'informed consent' be given to the injected, and that there should be voluntary compliance, devoid of any intimidation or coercion.
The WHO/NIH/FDA/CDC/Big Pharma health cabal approved this injection, as an experiment, without regard to human medical concerns, and has hidden and ignored recent adverse reactions.
What's not to like about this injection ?
How about we later find from Pfizer's CEO testimony to the European union, that it wasn't even tested against the covid virus.

I’m finding most people don’t even know this. The most effective reason I have found to give people that ask why I haven’t been vaxed is just what you said. I tell them I wouldn’t buy a new car without a warranty. I even like my toasters to have a warranty. I trust products based on their warranty a lot, because that tells how much the company making them trusts the product.

By that time, the asker gets it and is questioning why they got vaxed.

I’m not sure I would trust any of these studies. A liberal friend whose husband is a professor at a local University said that one of his grants was for him to study why there is vaccine hesitancy locally. I asked her if he was going to be polling people. She looked confused and said no. So how else would he get his information? I assume they gave him what they want the outcome to be and he is supposed to provide evidence.
