A h.s. starting out with less than 250 in grades 9-12 is in a much tougher situation.

Yes FRiend I agree. But out of the 400 or so kid’s i graduated with probably 200 or so were girls. And they had their own full athletic programs.

That’s about the size of the hs I attended in small town IL. And my senior class had 48. (Had our 50th reuion last Aug). My wife (75 grad) went to a big school. I counted the names on her commencement program a while back: 816. There was about 2700 kids in 10th thru 12th grades (baby boomer years).
